1. Who can enter: Open only to natural persons 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who attend EAA Oshkosh AirVenture 2010 (the "Event"). Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulation. Not eligible are employees and their immediate families including household members of Cessna Aircraft Company (Sponsor), or its agents, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotion agencies. The Official Rules and Restrictions (the "Official Rules") apply to all participants of the Cessna "Tweasure Hunt" treasure hunt contest (the "Contest"). The Contest is a skill contest designed to provide entertainment to visitors of the Event during the Promotion Period.
2. How to enter: To participate in the Contest, Participants must sign up to receive clues from Cessna. Descriptions of the five objects to be photographed will be delivered to participants via Twitter.com postings from Cessna at @fly_cessna or @GetInTheAir, and at the Cessna Learn to Fly Facebook.com page at www.facebook.com/pages/Cessna-Pilot-Centers/297395567161. To sign up to receive the descriptions, navigate to www.twitter.com and/or www.facebook.com prior to or during the Promotion Period and follow all instructions necessary to receive Cessna descriptions on your computer and/or mobile phone during the Promotion Period. The Contest consists of five simultaneous treasure hunt competitions on July 28 at the Event. Participants will be challenged to be the first Participant to locate and photograph the treasure hunt object, and return to the Cessna booth at the Event and show the photograph to the designated Sponsor Contest representative. Participants will receive descriptions of the five objects via Sponsor’s Twitter and Facebook pages during the Promotion Period which will assist Participants in locating each object on the Event grounds. The Contest begins when the Event begins on July 28 and ends when all five objects are located. Ineligible, illegible or incomplete photograph submissions are void and will not be considered. Sponsor is not responsible for technical issues, lost or damaged photos, Event logistical issues, or delays in submission of photographs to the designated Sponsor Contest representative.
3. Prizes: FIRST PRIZE: The first Participant to present a photograph of one of the five objects to the designated Sponsor Contest representative at the Cessna booth during the Promotion Period will receive one of the following: a Cessna Skycatcher scale model (two will be awarded); a $25 Cessna gift shop gift certificate; a Cessna journal book; or a Cessna briefcase. Participant may choose prize from those remaining at the time prize is awarded. GRAND PRIZE: The first Participant to present photographs of all five objects to the designated Sponsor Contest representative at the Cessna booth during the Promotion Period will receive an Apple iPad®.
A Participant may receive only one prize, and prizes may not be substituted. Only a maximum of six (6) prizes will be awarded. Approximate retail value of all prizes: $800.00. ALL EXPENSES NOT SPECIFIED HEREIN, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF THE PRIZE, ARE EACH WINNER'S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. Sponsor will report the award of each prize to the Internal Revenue Service and other applicable taxing authorities.
4. Terms: By participating in the Contest, Participants: (i) acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and copyright ownership of submitted posts; (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects; (iii) agree that Sponsor has sole discretion to resolve any dispute as it sees fit, (iv) agree that neither Participant nor his/her heirs, successors or assigns will assert any claim relating to damages, losses or injuries against Sponsor, or its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, attorneys, printers and advertising and promotion agencies; and (v) agree to respect private property and EAA rules at the Event. If the ownership of any submitted photograph is contested in any manner, Sponsor retains the right to disqualify the entry and Participant. The Contest is subject to U.S. federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsor, or its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, attorneys and advertising and promotion agencies (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, (ii) disclaim any implied warranty; and (iii) are not in any way responsible or liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from altered, late, lost, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, illegible or incomplete submissions, or human, telephone, computer, online, or technical malfunctions, failures or difficulties (including busy lines and disconnections) of any kind, or acceptance and use of a prize in connection with such prize. Winners assume liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession or use of any prize.
5. Conditions: No correspondence will be entered into by Sponsor. Any tax due on a prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of all winners. No substitution or transfer of any prize is permitted. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest as solely determined by the Sponsor will be disqualified from winning any prize. In the event the Contest is compromised by a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the contest and award prizes in a later contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted at www.cessna.com/tweasurehunt.
6. Privacy: By participating in the Contest, Participants agree to Sponsor’s use of any personal information provided in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (which can be found at www.cessna.com/tweasurehunt).
7. Winners: The names of all winners will be posted at @fly_cessna; @GetInTheAir), and www.facebook.com/pages/Cessna-Pilot-Centers/297395567161.
