This pilot favorite features a McCauley three-bladed constant-speed prop so you can take advantage of different power settings, leading to a boost in performance. And thanks to its Lycoming IO-540-AB1A5 powerplant, the Skylane serves up 230 horsepower and climbs at 924 fpm (282 mpm). It can also reach speeds up to 150 knots (278 km/hr), or cruise at 145 knots (269 km/hr) for 773 nautical miles (1,432 km).
