Citation Aircraft

Every mission: accomplished

Missions with a high level of sensitivity and importance depend upon a reliable aircraft platform for success. Citation is by far the largest and most diverse fleet of business jets in the general aviation market, providing a perfect solution for every special mission requirements set.

Cessna’s aircraft have long roots with the military organizations around the world, including the T-38 Tweet as a jet trainer for the USAF.  Cessna also provided cargo and training aircraft in WWII.

Surveillance and Patrol

When the mission requires a docile aircraft that handles well at low altitudes and slow speeds, a Citation jet embodies those performance characteristics. Several Citations are single-pilot certified, which means more eyes can be on the ground during patrol flights. Citations offer roomy, customizable cabins that are quiet and smooth; stability and ease of operation; efficiency of costs compared to comparable jets; and unparalleled, worldwide customer support.

When you choose Citation for your surveillance and patrol aircraft, we customize your jet to fit your exact mission requirements. For example, jets can be equipped with a securely mounted EO/IR device, technology specially suited to carry out territory surveillance work such as border patrol, land-use patrol, and general policing.

Air Ambulance

When the mission is one of life or death, every minute counts. Citation jets offer the speed, performance, and extreme reliability to serve as the ideal air ambulance platform. The Citation line of jets offers a wide range of operational flexibility, with most models flying above turbulent weather. The spacious and quiet cabins accommodate customized ambulance interiors with equipment such as medical evacuation systems, advanced life-support systems, mission-specific seating, stretcher systems, and powered loading systems.

Our Citation jets are equipped with ease of use flight decks offering optimal situational awareness and ease of use. Avionics systems can be configured to suit mission requirements and ultimately allow pilots to focus on the quickest, most direct route to the hospital or medical facility.

Dedicated Training

Training career airline pilots requires a teaching aircraft that’s easy to operate yet provides the challenge of a real airliner experience. The speed, performance, cruising altitudes, and advanced avionics suites in Citation jets closely approximate those of commercial airliners. Your Citation can be custom configured to reflect your training goals precisely.

Training aircraft can be configured for dual use to accommodate both executive travel and pilot training. Citations are known for their low operating costs compared to comparable lightweight and midsize jets, as well as for long service lives, high resale values, and the most comprehensive service network in the world for general aviation.
