The mission of the CEFC is to promote and encourage private flying and to provide economical flying for members. Hundreds of fellow Cessnans are members of the CEFC. While members have varied levels of flight experience and different reasons to fly, they all have one thing in common - the love of airplanes and flying them. Membership includes current Cessna employees, including interns, retirees, and the immediate family of employees and retirees.

Cessna Employees' Flying Club
Employment at Cessna has many benefits. One of these is the opportunity to join the Cessna Employee's Flying Club (CEFC). Pride in the product one builds can best be expressed by using that product. With this thought in mind, on June 19, 1946, 20 builders of Cessna organized the Cessna Employee's Flying Club. To foster the objectives of the Flying Club, the organization was presented with two Model 120 airplanes. Today, over 400 active members enjoy the considerable benefit of economical flying, high quality instruction, and aircraft maintained in an excellent state. New Graduate Development Program
Finding the right employer straight out of college can be hard enough, but finding the best starting point for your career can be even harder.
Cessna Aircraft Company can make both of these decisions easier for you: First, by offering you a chance to learn and grow in the exciting world of general aviation with the unquestioned industry leader, and second, by offering you the chance to participate in our New Graduate Development Program.
The New Hire Development Program is designed to provide recent graduates flexibility in determining his or her engineering discipline. Upon acceptance and approval of a job offer from Cessna, a new engineer’s educational background, skills and career interests will be matched against profiles of the ten different engineering disciplines, then a starting place will be jointly agreed upon. After approximately 90 days on the job, an engineering employment representative will meet with the new engineer and discuss their initial placement. The new engineer can then choose to stay in their current position or transfer to another area of Engineering if the match was not successful.
