Cessna Citation CJ4 Highlights Exhibit at LABACE in Brazil
WICHITA, Kan., August 10, 2011 - Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is featuring the Citation CJ4 at the Latin America Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition this week in São Paulo.
The show, opening Thursday at São Paulo’s Congonhas Airport, is one of the most important business aviation trade shows in the world supporting one of the largest business jet markets in the world. Brazil's fleet of Citations is the biggest national Citation fleet outside the U.S. at 263 – 10 percent of those are Mustangs – and there are nearly 500 Citations across Latin America.
For LABACE, Cessna will support its authorized sales representative in Brazil, TAM Aviaç?o Executiva, with sales support and a lineup of Cessna aircraft including the Corvalis TT, 182 Skylane, Grand Caravan, Citation Mustang, Citation Sovereign, Citation CJ4 and a Citation X with winglets.
In addition to the Citation, the Cessna Caravan turboprop also has had success in Brazil with an average of 10 percent of annual Cessna Caravan deliveries going there each year over the past decade. One of the largest Caravan operators in the world, Força Aérea Brasileira recently took delivery of its 32nd aircraft.
